to be “saved” is to be:
- Justified, acquitted legally (Rom. 3:21-25);
- Reconciled, eliminating enmity with God (2 Cor. 5:18);
- Adopted, brought into the family of God (Gal. 4:4-5).
- Pardoned, forgiven a great debt (Matt. 18:27),
- Redeemed from slavery (Gal. 5:1),
- Rescued from eternal danger (1 thess. 1:10).
- Cleansed from filth (eph. 5:26-27),
- Healed from disease (1 Pet. 2:24),
- Recreated as a new creature (Gal. 6:15),
- Resurrected to new life (eph. 2:6).
