I was traveling home from Hillsboro yesterday when I saw God’s amazing creative hand at work. The sky had beautiful fluffy white clouds painted onto it in different layers. I’m sure all of us at some time have sat, or lain, to gaze at the clouds trying to find different shapes in different clouds. Like Sunday on our way home from my mom’s house I saw an alligator in the sunset.
Yesterday was just a little different. I was looking up at the clouds not really searching for anything but God himself must have had something else in mind. I began to see babies. Some complete, some not. I saw feet, hands, torsos, and heads. Not just one or too but hundreds, maybe more.
As I began to see and recognize what I was looking at, I realized that there are some 61.8 million + babies that have been aborted since 1980. How sad that makes me. There are many people today that think that abortion is just another form of “birth control “. They don’t stop to consider that they are actually murdering a human life. Some have bought into the idea that a fetus is not a living creature. Some have been deceived into thinking that “it’s okay “ for what ever reason.
I pray that these people will one day realize the truth for what it is. One, that God created man in his own image according to Genesis chapter 1.

God knew each person before they were formed: “Your eyes saw me when I was formless; all my days were written in Your book and planned before a single one of them began.”

I love children. They are pure and they have a way of looking at the world that can light up our eyes and help us look at the world in brand new ways. Jesus said several things to say about children. Let’s take a look at what he had to say. “Then Jesus said, “Leave the children alone, and don’t try to keep them from coming to Me, because the kingdom of heaven is made up of people like this.””
Matthew 19:14
Jesus recognized the simple faith of children when he said: ““I assure you,” He said, “unless you are converted and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child — this one is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one child like this in My name welcomes Me.”

God says that children are a blessing and a reward from him. A heritage:
“Sons are indeed a heritage from the Lord, children, a reward.”

What many people who have had abortions were not told is that there is often an extreme feeling of guilt and loss that comes afterwards. I have met many women who suffer more after an abortion than they would have if they had had the child. We need to educate these women so that they know that when they have an abortion they are actually hurting themselves far more than they are “helping” themselves. My concern is for the women and the children. Please pray for the women who are considering an abortion. Pray that someone lovingly shares the truth with them. Jesus loves them and their unborn child. He can help them through any situation.
