In the lives we live, we can be victorious. There are many ways we can plan, or train. We can educate ourselves in ways that are prudent and wise. Sometimes, and probably in the most important battles in life the best plans canfall short. Through no ability or wisdom of our own the odds often overwhelm us. In those times especially, when we are doing the things of God, he will make sure we win. God has a way of turning hopeless situations into more than just a win by the skin of our teeth. He makes us to slip in just under the wire and enjoy an abundant victory that we thought there was no hope. The rewards more abundant than we even expected.
God does this for us for one simple reason. He loves us. It isn’t because we did make a totally awesome plan. It isn’t because we diligently read his word, or live life in any special way. Only because we believe and put our trust in him.
God loved us when we wern’t lovable. He continues to love us even when we are weak. When there is nothing left to do, let him carry you. Victories we win on our own are enjoyable. Victories God wins for us are amazing.
