Dear TSF: Sneaky Irishman

from the archives of letters and voicemails sent to my podcast: That Sounds Funny – Three blind siblings telling it the way we see it!

Hi there Keith, Terry and Jill!

I call this email, a sneaky Irishman.

Last summer I was able to take a vacation to visit Ireland. On this particular day, the rain was pouring down, And there, standing in front of a big puddle outside a pub was an old Irishman.

He was drenched, holding a stick with a piece of a string dangling in the water.

I was rushing past him, but I stopped long enough in my effort to get out of the rain to ask, "what are you doing?"

He commented, " fishing!"

I was feeling sorry for the poor wet old man, so I invited him inside the pub to get warm and have a drink.

While sitting inside, I asked the man, "how many have you caught today?"

He told me I was the eighth!

Hope my story makes it on the Show!
